About us

Since 2019, New Music Decanted has presented over 30 concerts with more than 100 pieces of music across Napa, Sonoma, and San Francisco.

We’re excited to announce our first annual 3-day festival featuring 30 musicians and over a dozen preview concerts across California.

Concerts

Our concerts are rooted in winemaking traditions:
Side-By-Side Tastings present a classic work paired movement-by-movement with contemporary works.
Verticals feature the music of a single composer.
Horizontals feature music from one particular year.
Barrel Tastings are a concert of premieres.
Cellar Tastings are a classic work presented in its entirety followed by related contemporary works.
Proprietary Blends are an anything-goes concert.

Artists

30 performers have been selected from across California, the East Coast, and Europe. They will be invited to participate as soon as the dates are announced for the festival.

Executive Director | Eric Moore
Cellist and composer. Co-founded a music education startup that released three apps with over 50,000 downloads. Experience with web design, content creation, branding, fundraising.

Director of Marketing, CFO | Sarah Imbriaco
Co-founded a digital marketing agency. Experience with social media management, paid advertising, graphic design, copywriting, and CRM.
